New mirrorless reflex camera NEX5 with Biogon 28
Today I got a new SLR camera with mirrorless system. I bought brand new one in
64,000yen. In addition, I bought SDHC card in 6,091yen.
That camera is Sony NEX-5D. I combined it with Carl Zeiss Biogon 28 G by using Kipon lense adapter that I bought it recently. The weight of NEX-5 is so light, but the lense is too heavy against the body. When I took the lense to lock in the lense adapter, I felt a frustration of not knowing fixing. The lense was easy to unloosen it because it was not locked. The fixing system of Contax G was spigot type. But it was the first time for me.
I could not find a fixing ring soon. I investigated the system by internet but a fixing ring was stiff to rotate it. So, I took some time to know the location of fixing-ring. It was the next ring of aperture ring.
For the best way to fixing Biogon 28, at first, you should be fixed the Kipon lense adapter to the camera, and then fixing the lense to the adapter. On this way, you need not to rotate the lense to lock.
I got a Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 21mm f2.8 from eBay. It was $835.05 USD.
When fixing the lens to the body, some people report the fixing trouble that the lens cover interfere with the body near image sensor. I don't have any troubles when fixing these lenses. I am using these lenses on original state without modification.
