Shomaru Station -> Mt. Maruyama -> Ashigakubo Station
I walked up Maruyama Mountain (H=960m) at December 6th. It was a fine weather, so I could see a wonderful panoramic 360-degree view from the summit of the mountain.
Yesterday had a lot of rain, so the mountain path had a lot of slippy parts. I slipped on the mountain path again and again, but I could avoid a tumble on a downhill mountain path by a close shave.
I started from Shomaru Station of Seibu Chichibu line and arrived at Ashigakubo Station (next station of Shomaru). I walked about 16km.

If you have a interest to my walk plan. Please look at the next URL. It will show you the route. I uploaded the route plan to ALPSLAB route.
Regarding western part of Maruyama downhill route, the GPS accuracy was in very bad condition because of valley walk. So, the accuracy of the route will be not worth believing from my real GPS trekking data.
